Description
"Suction Catheter with Thumb Control Valve" refers to a device that uses thin plastic tubing to remove saliva, blood, or other fluids from the patient's mouth, trachea, or nose, connected directly to a suction machine, as indicated by medical needs.
Use of Suction Catheter
Select an appropriate size of the sterile suction catheter and connect it tightly with a vacuum extractor. Next, clamp the tube end with sterile hemostatic forceps and gently insert it into the patient’s throat through his oral or nasal cavity, then start sputum suction. After the operation, turn off the vacuum extractor, take out the tube, and dispose of it immediately.
Caution
This sterile suction catheter is for single use only. Discard after single use. Repeated use is strictly prohibited; it may cause infection or cross-infection.
Re-sterilization is strictly prohibited.
Do not use if the package is broken or opened.
The storage environment shall be kept dry and away from sunlight.
The suction catheter contains DEHP.
